New! Clos Marguerite Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand
If you like New zealand sauvignon blancs, you'll love this one!Made from grapes grown on a single 10-hectare in the Awatere Valley in the Marlborough district. The wine makers are a couple who honed their winemaking skills in France and chose New Zealand as the place to start their own winery. The wine is definitely a product of the gravel soils on terraces above the Awatere River. It has a moderate amount of the grapefruit and melon typical of New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs that is offset by a subtle minerality. The mid-palate also has a soft underlying creamy flavor and texture that lead to firm acidic finish. |
